Jon Fort Art Opening at Solune – Live Music After Bill DeRome and Lauren Woodall

6 pm – Join us for a reception and view of Ocala Artist, Jon Frt. Rooted in observation and personal experience, Jon Fort’s latest body of work explores the intersection of nature, utility, and renewal. Inspired by the animals and subjects that populate his daily life, Fort creates sculptures from reclaimed and salvaged materials, breathing new life into forgotten objects. Each piece carries a sense of function, humor, and warmth, inviting viewers to reconsider the value and beauty of the overlooked. Join us for a coffee and to meet the artist.

8 pm – Following the exhibition, guests are invited to stay for an intimate evening of live music featuring Bill DeRome and Lauren Woodall. Both singer-songwriters create a relaxed, reflective atmosphere, with Lauren’s ethereal vocals and Bill’s thoughtful songwriting offering the perfect close to the evening. Admission to the music portion is $15, or pay what you can. The art exhibition remains free – contributions apply only to the live music performance.
